Saying Goodbye

Well today was a sad day as I once again put my baby girl on a plane and sent her back into a war zone, not as a soldier, but as a contractor who supports our military. I am so proud of both of my children though as they both are supporting the war effort as contractors. They have both grown up so much in the last year and have aquired a new appreciation for the sacrifice their Dad made while serving in the Army. Thanks to you all who support your military and please pray for them all everyday and please remember the contractors as well as they too are someone's father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter etc.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Fall is definately upon us and for us here in the bayou that means we get some beautiful 80 degree weather with some great porch sitting temps in the evening. This is one of my favorite seasons although it means the start of the busiest time of the year for me and this year it means My Favorite Things is getting ready to open!! So keep checking back for the Grand Opening!! Take care for now!!
