So the big day Christmas is over. Had a great day watching the grandkids open their presents and play like crazy all day. Hubby was sick so his day wasn't so joy filled, but it was a quiet and we relaxed which was much needed. So now on to the New Year...I will become a year older, ughh, but that's ok you are only as old as you feel and I don't feel like I am as old as I am supposed to be, you notice I didn't tell you how old, well that would be cause I never remember I have to do the math, LOL!! Anyway My Favorite Things will open after the first of the year and I have great hopes of success for the store!! Cathy and I have some awesome things planned and have lined up some awesome vendors. We look forward to getting involved in some great happenings in a revival of our local historical downtown area and I am excited to be a part of it. Check out the before and during pics of the store!! The transformation is amazing, took a bit longer than we was hoping but the end results are going to be well worth it for sure!! For all you local folks keep tuned in here or the website www.signsofpatriotism.com or my Facebook page to see when we open up, trust me I will have it posted any and everywhere!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and looking forward to the New Year. Please keep up with me this year as I look forward to adding new products to my website and Etsy this year. It's going to be a busy year!!

  2. Sorry I didn't get by there on my way back from Broadmoor in Baton Rouge. I hardly had anything left. Maybe next year.

The revitalization is looking great. I'll be checking back often.
