Yes My Favorite Things has finally opened it's doors!! I can't tell you how excited I am for the opportunity to be such a big part of this project!! There is so much going on there right now. Of course you know there is Primitives and Signs of Patriotism and Polish Pottery, but in the last week some local Louisiana artists, Flo Fessler and Goober Art have brought in their items along with Girlie Girl Bows by Debet and don't forget she can take care of all your monogramming needs!! We also have two jewelry vendors, Jewelry by Dayna Dickie and Look n Good by Cindy Clay, both have fantastic pieces that are so unique to each artist...BEAUTIFUL STUFF LADIES!! Don't forget the Shabby Chic area. We will be adding to that as well. So you can see we are adding and vendors are coming in everyday so please come and check out what "the shop with the purple door" has to offer, you won't be disappointed!!

Monday Marketplace
Hey guys today I am featuring Lisa Reiman from The Moonlit Stitch. She a wonderfully talented lady with prim sewing projects as well as Etsy Banners. Check out her interview then checkout her Etsy shop for some treasures!!
1. What is the name of your Etsy shop and why did you choose that name?I chose “The Moonlit Stitch” because often the only time to work on my projects is during the “moonlit” hours of the night or early morning when everyone else is sleeping!
2. How long have you been on Etsy? I joined Etsy in February 2008. It’s a wonderful place to buy and sell handmade items and meet folks with similar interests, like the ladies of “Old Farmhouse Gathering”.
3. What type of items do you offer? Primitive style make-do’s, dollfolk (snowmen, santas), ornies and bowl fillers.
4. How long have you been crafting? I can remember crafting with my mom and grandma at a very young age and have never stopped!
5. Who or What inspires you? Inspiration is all around us! I love the changing seasons.
6. What is your favorite item in your shop and why? Currently I have some fabric candy canes in an old canning jar listed. I was selling these at a craft show recently and a gentleman looked at them and asked why I would put old fabric candy canes in a jar. I chuckled and said, “It’s a PRIMITIVE thing!”
7. Other places where you can be found:I occasionally sell on ebay as “the*moonlit*stitch” You can visit my blog at: www.themoonlitstitch.blogspot.com. My etsy store is: www.themoonlitstitch.etsy.com

NEW STORE PICS!! COME SEE WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO!!
Well guys here's some new pics of inside the store, more specifically my red room. I love my red room!! This is the display my friend Dee at Icehouse Crafts helped me come up with. Still needs a little work cause the signs keep sliding down, but it's getting there and at least those darn things are inventoried, LOL, but as you can see there are still several items that have not made it to the
he next pic is a prim bench that hubby made over the summer. Still some work on this display to do, but it's coming along. Love the prim doll my friend Joan Minervini from Vintage Keepsake Trunk on Etsy is consigning with us. It is one of many many treasures she has sent us to sell for her. Anywho, just wanted to show you all what I had been working on this week. Slowly but surely we are getting closer to an opening date. I will update later as the rest of the store comes together. Thanks for following and for all the prayers!! I think this week we are going to need them, lol!!
